Join me won’t you as I stumble along figuring this thing out, cussing and swearing and well, you know…

Anyhoo… Here is a little tune I banged together yesterday while I should have been doing my taxes… It’s called Acres of Clams but it’s really Rosin the Bow, A Celtic standard if there ever was one. But in grade school, we sang this song with the lyrics describing a man who finds disapointment digging for gold in the Yukon but finds redemption as a clam farmer.

“…No longer a slave to ambition….. I’m contented with just who I am… I think of my happy condition, surrounded by acres of clams.”

A lesson for us all I think.

Keep in mind, this is my first attempt ever at home recording so be nice and dont fret about the missed notes… Apparently I didn’t.

P.S. I play all 3 instruments… I could have added a ukulele but I thought that was pushing it.

Cheers!!
